A standard Premium Igloo accommodates two plus one extra bed. The alcove category has four beds and space for a fifth, making it the relevant option for a family of five. Some alcove and sauna igloos connect; ask the hotel to confirm the complete arrangement.
The village provides the main family outings. Take frequent warming breaks, dress for the conditions and avoid making a late-night aurora watch compulsory for children. Northern lights depend on weather and solar activity.
Restaurant Arctic Eye is on site, and breakfast is advertised with the igloo rate. Check dinner service and reserve festive-season meals before travelling.
Arrive with time to settle in and learn how the aurora alert works. Devote the next day to Santa Claus Village, then enjoy a quiet evening. Add Arktikum on another day if you want an indoor change of pace.
